Waive enters strategic partnership with Exail for advanced sonar technology

Waive has signed a delivery agreement with Exail, a leading French technology supplier, for the delivery of SeapiX sonar systems for biomass control.

The agreement includes delivery of SeapiX sonar systems offering high-performance volumetric coverage and resolution. This enables assessment of fish size and count in aquaculture facilities, while potential threats in the area can be detected.

"We are pleased to contribute to Waive's success with our SeapiX sonar. Our sonar technology is designed to provide unparalleled capabilities and ensure precise and comprehensive monitoring of aquaculture facilities," said Thomas Buret, CEO of Exail.

"We believe that using cutting-edge technology is crucial to ensuring sustainable aquaculture. The integration of Exail's sonars combined with our advanced software fits seamlessly with our vision for responsible and environmentally conscious fish farming," said Peter Skaugvold, CEO of Waive.

SeapiX is a series of state-of-the-art sonars designed by Exail, already in use on over 100 fishing vessels worldwide.
