Aquabio at AquaNext 2023 in Stavanger

AquaNext 2023 was organized in Stavanger by Stiim Aqua Cluster and the Federation of Norwegian Industries. The conference gathered over 300 participants from across the Norwegian aquaculture industry, focusing on new technology, sustainability, and innovation.

We presented our sonar-based solution for biomass monitoring – where the SeapiX 3D sonar is combined with machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide fish farmers with continuous overview of fish weight, distribution, and behavior in the pen.

AquaNext is an important arena for discussing technology's role in the future of aquaculture, and we received valuable feedback from both farmers and researchers. We look forward to the next edition!
